We shot Lauren & Rob’s engagement photos on New Year’s Day 2016, and what a great coincidence — New Year’s Day is when they had first started dating! We went to Muir Woods, which is such a gorgeous wooded grove, and even though it was packed, we managed to avoid the crowd and got some beautiful photos on our hike along the trail. Tammy and Chris are an adorable and loving couple, and we felt very relaxed working around them. Even with the wind at 27mph on a very chilly day, the two stayed calm and cheerful for the entire two hours, and I’m amazed that, while I was freezing inside my coat, Tammy was able to pull off that look with her gorgeous short dress. I think I can summarize Jessica & Mike’s wedding with one short story: After I finished with the girls’ getting ready photos, I told David “I’ve been laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt!” — and David replied, “same with me and the guys!” Like our bride & groom, the entire wedding party was a super fun group that we just couldn’t help but fall in love with. Ah the unpredictable San Francisco weather! As I was driving to Amra and Can’s engagement session, I thought to myself, “maybe this session will have to be rescheduled” because the fog was so thick that I could barely see anything on the road.
