Uvas Canyon County Park holds a special meaning to Sue and Bryan: he had proposed to her at the top of the hill, and they’ll be getting married at the park this upcoming spring. So last week, we decided to do a venue walk-through and shoot their engagement photos at this extremely memorable place of theirs! I love how adventurous Sue and Bryan were 😀 It had been raining for a few days so the water in the creek was pretty high, and some paths were blocked by the water, but they didn’t mind sitting on the wet logs or climbing up on the big rocks so that we could get the best angles. The photos at the end, of course, were well worth the effort! David and I cannot wait to be back in a few months to capture their big day!

We shot Lauren & Rob’s engagement photos on New Year’s Day 2016, and what a great coincidence — New Year’s Day is when they had first started dating! We went to Muir Woods, which is such a gorgeous wooded grove, and even though it was packed, we managed to avoid the crowd and got some beautiful photos on our hike along the trail. Despite Sean working an out-of-town job and the two only seeing each other on weekends, he and Rochelle spent a precious day scouting out locations for their engagement photos to make this an extra-special shoot. Tammy and Chris are an adorable and loving couple, and we felt very relaxed working around them. Even with the wind at 27mph on a very chilly day, the two stayed calm and cheerful for the entire two hours, and I’m amazed that, while I was freezing inside my coat, Tammy was able to pull off that look with her gorgeous short dress. I think I can summarize Jessica & Mike’s wedding with one short story: After I finished with the girls’ getting ready photos, I told David “I’ve been laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt!” — and David replied, “same with me and the guys!” Like our bride & groom, the entire wedding party was a super fun group that we just couldn’t help but fall in love with.
