Golden hour in San Francisco, especially in the autumn and winter months, is always a dream to shoot in. This time more than any, I really love shooting in open spaces that let me fully take advantage of the golden light. I had a great time hitting a few different spots with Angela and Rafferty for their golden hour engagement shoot, and the long grass and sand dunes at Ocean Beach are especially perfect under the warm sunset glow! We waited a loooong time to get the perfect sunset for Nicole & Amir’s Sutro Baths engagement photos, and here we have it! I get so excited when I’m photographing a couple who is super in love — you can see it in their eyes — and I think it shows in the photos too. Laura Beth and Andrew are expecting their first child!! After scaling down their original wedding plans to a “lemonade” Zoom wedding last year, LB kept with the theme and wore a lemon dress for her maternity photos. I loved it! This was a really quick mini-shoot right outside their home, so even though we didn’t spend a lot of time together it was wonderful to catch up a bit and get some beautiful maternity photos at Sutro Baths.
