We love it when a plan all comes together for a wonderful result! Preet brought his girlfriend Prabhjit to the Palace of Fine Arts on a sunny October afternoon. Prior to his arrival, a group of his friends had gathered to help set up an cute “marry me” lighted sign and flower petals arranged in the shape of a heart. I got to first meet Emily and Josh just two days before their San Francisco City Hall ceremony, at Emily’s best friend’s wedding where she was a bridesmaid. (And of course they returned the favor — you can see Jess & Jason in some of these ceremony photos!) They’re a cute couple with lots of love for each other and for those around them, and you can see that the atmosphere during their ceremony was appropriately lighthearted and fun. [ read more … ]

If I had to shoot at only one place and time of day for the rest of my life, I’d choose the Sutro Baths sunset in a heartbeat. The light there is absolutely incredible, especially as we head into the fall season, and it’s actually quite different from day to day. Amanda and Brandon met up with us for their engagement photo shoot in San Francisco by the ocean. Her long blue dress worked perfectly in the ocean breeze and the colorful sunset sky, but of course more important is Amanda & Brandon’s love for each other. And I loved that they were able to goof around with each other a bit too. They sure warmed up an otherwise cold San Francisco day!
