Katie & Brian’s Golden Gate Park Engagement Photos
As California starts to open back up from its coronavirus-induced shutdown, we’ve started getting back to work with engagement shoots, with social distancing of course — gone are the days when we could greet our couples with a hug! Brian & Katie’s engagement session was our first after being shut down for over two months, and we are so excited to share.
We met up at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park to catch the sun just as its golden rays were ducking behind the hills [ read more … ]
James & Anne Marie’s Stow Lake Rowboat Surprise Proposal
James wanted to surprise his girlfriend Anne Marie with a marriage proposal in a special spot: on a Stow Lake rowboat, near the old stone arch bridge. As they slowly rowed towards the spot while feeding the ducks around them, we got into position — Annie on the shore nearby, David in a different rowboat (with our daughter on board to make it not look suspicious!) to get a second angle from the side — and watched as they approached. Brian & Jenny’s Huntington Falls Proposal Photos at Stow Lake
Brian had enlisted a few friends to help pull off the perfect surprise for his girlfriend Jenny: they were going to take a walk with their dog along Stow Lake one sunny weekend afternoon, and along the way, he’d stop to surprise her with a marriage proposal right in front of a waterfall right at the edge of the lake. Aditi & Timir’s San Francisco Stunning Sunset Engagement Photos
Aditi & Timir’s engagement session was a two-part affair. For the first set of photos, they hopped on a rowboat and paddled around Stow Lake for some fun, relaxed photos around the park. It’s not something I do often, but I think we got some really cute photos! For the second set, they really wanted the perfect sunset. And let’s be real — with the incredible skies that San Francisco has to offer, who doesn’t? [ read more … ]
Rudy & Zoey’s Surprise Proposal at Stow Lake | Golden Gate Park Photographer
Rudy is the kind of person who’s very precise, specific, and knows exactly what he wants. It made working together on this shoot so smooth and easy, and I’m sure Zoey feels very lucky to have someone like him! He had it all planned out — just before the proposal, they spent an afternoon at the de Young Museum, followed by a relaxing, romantic walk around Stow Lake. After passing a small pagoda, a calm waterfall, and a myriad of couples on paddleboats, Rudy and Zoey crossed an idyllic stone arch bridge to the spot where he proposed. We really loved Zoey’s “awww” face, and I’m sure that you, the reader, will too. Check out their photos below — and congrats to Rudy & Zoey 🙂
