It’s strange how some long wedding days can go by so quickly, and Jeffrey & Julie’s wedding was definitely one of those. We met up with them in the morning at Hayes Mansion, where the emotional tone for the rest of the day was quickly set with Julie’s reveal with her bridesmaids & bridesmen, followed by her very heartfelt speech thanking each of them for being a part of her journey over the years. J&J’s first look was a very touching one, and after that we lost count of how many times Jeffrey cried and laughed at the same time throughout the day. The mansion was a perfect place for all of this plus lots of portraits for everyone — both the beautiful interior and clean exterior are just so ideal for photos!

Though this first part of their wedding day was quiet and relaxed, it was a great lead-in to the ceremony & reception at The GlassHouse SJ, where the energy really picked up, especially during the reception which included a spectacularly-performed surprise lion dance as well as some pretty incredible dancing [ read more … ]

Bruce and Hannah said their vows and tied the knot a little less than three weeks ago. We have some highlights ready and are so excited to share them! Steve and Emily met five years ago at The Grand, a nightclub that Steve describes as “the San Francisco Asian American landmark.” Steve had gone with Simon, a friend he had just met at work, and Simon decided that they’d go talk to some girls at the club. Megan and Darius’s Rock Creek Gardens wedding in Puyallup definitely fit this trend.
