Lillian’s cake smash was an absolutely adorable one!! We started the session with her wearing her little red tutu in her parent’s backyard. For this session, Julie and Eric provided all kinds of props and made sure that Lillian was well-fed and had a good nap, giving me lots of opportunities to snap many happy shots! We were all laughing pretty hard at Lillian’s reaction after her cake smash; the sugar high hit her literally within five minutes of digging into the cake, and she turned from a quiet baby into a dancing queen! I will always remember the sparkles in Lillian’s eyes when she took the first bite of that frosting, and the “hmmmm” sound she was making during the whole cake smashing. It was just ADORABLE!! I had a fun session with Julie and Eric’s beautiful family! With Christmas just around the corner, Julie’s parents were visiting them in town, and the rain stopped just in time for their photo shoot. Little Lillian is soooo cute! She is a very happy baby and didn’t mind laughing in front of my cameras. Her tiny, adorable red polka dot dress made her pop in all the photos and was very Christmas-y!

I photographed Ruth’s maternity session back in late July. About a month later little Xavier came to this world a little earlier than planned. So when Ruth contacted me, I was super excited to meet him!

He is so tiny that you just can’t help to love and protect him. Life is really precious and wonderful!

Meet Xavier… Ta-dah!

A & F’s wedding ceremony was held in the Santa Clara county chapel. It was a very touching one – there was not a dry eye in the room and their friend did an amazing job by singing All of Me to conclude the ceremony! The reception was then held at the rooftop patio at the Loft Bar & Bistro where many more of their friends joined in.

A & F, I adore the deep love between you, and I wish you two (and the little plus one that is on the way) all the best!! Congrats 🙂
