Having flown in all the way from Texas for the long Memorial Day weekend, Andrew planned on proposing to Anna in San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background as a backdrop. As luck would have it, our friend Karl the Fog showed up… but though we weren’t able to see the bridge, the fog gave the beach a romantic, almost dreamy feel, and I especially love how Anna’s vibrantly-colored dress stands out in the photos! Congrats to this beautiful couple 🙂

Rudy is the kind of person who’s very precise, specific, and knows exactly what he wants. It made working together on this shoot so smooth and easy, and I’m sure Zoey feels very lucky to have someone like him! He had it all planned out — just before the proposal, they spent an afternoon at the de Young Museum, followed by a relaxing, romantic walk around Stow Lake. After passing a small pagoda, a calm waterfall, and a myriad of couples on paddleboats, Rudy and Zoey crossed an idyllic stone arch bridge to the spot where he proposed. While on a weekend trip to San Francisco for Heather’s birthday, this pair of high school sweethearts (together for nine years!) made their way out to Baker Beach for a special event. Ashwin flew from London to San Francisco last weekend to give Chai the sweetest surprise!

The two first met each other in London when they were 15, then reconnected a few years ago… which sounds uncannily similar to the story of yours truly! After lots of planning and help from Chai’s friends, Ashwin was ready to give her a huge surprise at the top of the Lyon Street Steps.
