Rochelle & Geoff | San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts & War Memorial Wedding
The Palace of Fine Arts, an iconic San Francisco landmark and popular tourist attraction, has been a special spot and is a perennial favorite for many of our couples’ proposals and engagement photos. Its majestic architectural design and unique picturesque surroundings and backdrop makes it no surprise that couples flock here to make their pre-wedding moments more memorable.
Geoff and Rochelle were very special for us, as they were our first couple to actually get married under the dome. Rochelle had dreamed of having her wedding there, and we were so delighted at the opportunity since we had always wanted to photograph a wedding at the Palace of Fine Arts! We couldn’t be happier that we got to share this experience with such a wonderful couple. [ read more … ]
Tim & Jackie | San Francisco Lands End Labyrinth Travel Surprise Proposal
Tim wanted to make his San Francisco trip with his girlfriend Jackie extra special, so he brought along a little ? surprise! The pair took an early morning trip out to the Land’s End Labyrinth while it was totally empty and had a nice moment to themselves, while we quietly took some photos from a distance. Jackie’s response was super priceless and I’m sure climbing that last rocky slope was totally worth it for her 🙂 [ read more … ]
E & E | San Francisco Charter Yacht Surprise Proposal
E & E’s surprise proposal was the works! He had hired Captain Larry (Just Dreaming Yacht) for a private cruise on the San Francisco Bay with them and six of their close friends. What an incredible way to propose! The afternoon was an extra fun one for us as well — we arrived a bit early to don crew uniforms, complete with nametags reading “Eric” and “Marie” which would be our identities for the first half of the trip until the surprise was revealed. Ryan & Mia | San Francisco Pier Seven Surprise Engagement Proposal
Ryan & Mia made a day trip from Stockton to San Francisco one beautiful, sunny morning last weekend. Ryan came to propose to his lovely girlfriend, of course, while the unsuspecting Mia thought she was here for an innocuous work event. Ryan and his mom Lisa had put together a very well-done “Day on the Bay” flyer for a work cruise, departing from Pier 7, that they were to attend.
Once they arrived at the wooden pier, Ryan knelt down on one knee and showed her the ring while a small group of onlookers paused to cheer. Mia had the absolute cutest reaction ever — look at the excitement and joy not only on her face, but also expressed by her hands and feet! Congrats you two!
Lauren & Zach | Sausalito Rodeo Beach Engagement Session
After making the rounds with Lauren & Zach through the Presidio and shooting some of their save-the-date photos along the way, we sped across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito to catch the sunset at Rodeo Beach. It’s their favorite beach for a getaway picnic and the view is just stunning! We had such a wonderful time with this beautiful couple and are so happy we had the chance to work with them. Join us in congratulating them on their upcoming wedding next year!
