Though they’ve been together for seven years and are technically already engaged, Harjot knew he was missing something: a proper proposal for his future wife. After shopping for wedding outfits in the East Bay, the two went over to the Palace of Fine Arts for a walk under the rotunda and around the lagoon, then made their way over to the tree that has become such a popular spot for photos. Harjot got down on one knee, gave the proposal Zeenia deserved, and presented her with a beautiful ring. I loved the thoughtfulness that went into this, and seeing the pure happiness on both of their faces was perfect. Congrats to Harjot & Zeenia!

Preethi and Parthiv started dating in their freshman year at Waterloo (my alma mater!), and moved to San Francisco 6 months ago. For their engagement photo session, we visited the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field in San Francisco. Although they live in Arizona now, K&B visit San Francisco often, and Treasure Island is their special spot. K had the perfect proposal planned out months in advance: he’d walk down the Avenue of the Palms waterfront with his girlfriend, enjoying the San Francisco Bay breeze and looking at the beautiful city skyline view as the sun set over Marin before dropping to one knee and proposing.
