E & E’s surprise proposal was the works! He had hired Captain Larry (Just Dreaming Yacht) for a private cruise on the San Francisco Bay with them and six of their close friends. What an incredible way to propose! The afternoon was an extra fun one for us as well — we arrived a bit early to don crew uniforms, complete with nametags reading “Eric” and “Marie” which would be our identities for the first half of the trip until the surprise was revealed. Katie and Alfred asked me to take their engagement photos and I was so happy to run around with this beautiful couple! They were very comfortable in front of my cameras and I could tell the deep love between them by the way they looked at each other! Katie is really sweet and Alfred is a caring gentleman — a perfect match! Their wedding will be in Miami next year with friends and family flying from everywhere. I’m sure it will be a perfect day full of joy and I’m really happy for you two!

Nora and John had a very intimate wedding with their family as guests on board the California Hornblower this July as the cruise ship sailed around the San Francisco Bay visiting landmarks like Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather that evening was excellent, and the fog didn’t roll in until after the ceremony was finished so we were fortunate enough to have the gorgeous Bay Bridge and skyline as the backdrop to the ceremony. Congrats Nora and John!

We had the pleasure to photograph the 7th anniversary for Stephanie and Jon! Although the city and the Golden Gate bridge were shrouded by thick fog, it created a romantic feel for all of their images. For the entire session, all I saw through my lens was peace and love — please enjoy their photos.
