Hong & Ben’s Russian Ridge Open Space Engagement Photos
As an outdoorsy couple, Hong and Ben wanted to be sure to capture nature in their engagement photos, and the Russian Ridge Open Space ended up being a perfect place for that. We aimed to capture them surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a big blue sky, and that’s exactly what we got! [ read more … ]
Erica & Andrew’s Bay Area Mountain Pre-Wedding Photos
Sometimes, you just have to go for it. We rescheduled Erica & Andrew’s pre-wedding shoot very, very last-minute because our original date was looking super rainy. Then on my drive over to the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve, I was greeted by seemingly impenetrable fog… but in the ten minutes that it took Erica & Andrew to arrive, the fog started to roll out! I’m super glad we went for it because the results are fantastic! [ read more … ]
Tim & Kim’s Bay Area Mountaintop Engagement Photos
Sometimes, we’re dealt a combination that is just too good to be true: the sweetest couple, in the most scenic location, with unbelievable weather. Tim & Kim love to hike, and they know all the good spots in the Bay Area… which is great for us as we love to explore new places for photos! They ended up choosing a mountaintop engagement photo shoot in Portola Valley, at a beautiful, quiet expanse of nature nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It’s a wonderful spot for engagement photos, and even more so for Tim & Kim since the outdoors is something they enjoy together as a couple. [ read more … ]
Sarah & Chris’s Wedding | Church of the Nativity, Stanford, & Ladera Oaks
We met Sarah and Chris back in May and they are a super sweet couple, so we were really excited to be at their wedding. On that beautiful Saturday, I joined the girls at their bridal suite at the Stanford Park Hotel, while David went to the Church of the Nativity to prepare for shooting the ceremony. We also went with them to take a few pictures at their school, Stanford. The outdoor reception was held at Ladera Oaks Swim & Tennis Club which is quite a nice reception venue. The best man and maid of honor gave great speeches which were both emotional and hilarious, and the guests really enjoyed them — see the pics below! Later that night, the newlyweds cut the cake with a sword… yes, a sword.
Congratulations Sarah & Chris!
