Nate & Katie had quite the memorable engagement — they got engaged last fall, right on that day when the Bay Area skies turned apocalyptic orange due to the fires. Though that wasn’t Nate’s original plan, it certainly made for a very memorable day! Just last month, we met Shabeg and his now-fiancee Nav for their surprise proposal on the Fairmont Hotel rooftop. Last weekend, we drove out to Pescadero for their engagement shoot so they could have everything ready for their wedding — which is in less than two weeks! That’s some efficient wedding planning!

For the first half of this session, we took a set of playful and fun photos along the coast at Pescadero State Beach (including that mini-canyon thingy that’s just absolutely wild), and afterwards headed south for some Pigeon Point Lighthouse engagement photos, which are some of my favorites from their shoot.
