Michael & Brittany’s San Francisco Ina Coolbrith Proposal
When I think of places in that are both quiet and have a great view of San Francisco, not a lot of places come to mind… and most of them involve a lot of hiking. But nestled in the middle of San Francisco, Ina Coolbrith Park is a hidden gem that’s the perfect spot for a surprise proposal: it’s convenient to get to, has a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline (and of Alcatraz if you look off to the side), and offers an easy, quiet walk through a pretty private location. Jim & Lauren’s Ina Coolbrith Park Surprise Proposal
Jim & Lauren have a special spot in the city that they had been to many times before, and even aside from its sentimental value, this place is a true hidden gem of San Francisco. Tucked away at the edge of Russian Hill, it’s a neat, quiet park with a beautiful view of the city. [ read more … ]

Samantha & Andrew | Yosemite National Park Wedding
Ever since we first visited Yosemite National Park a few years ago, we’d always been waiting for another opportunity to go back. We were so excited that Samantha & Andrew chose to have their wedding at Yosemite with their closest friends and family and brought us along to document the day. I loved the intimacy of such a small wedding along at the picturesque Cathedral Beach, tucked inside a calm bend of the Merced River.
After their ceremony, we took advantage of the setting and got some great portraits of the newlyweds with Cathedral Point and Yosemite Falls as backdrops. Although we ended up with tons of bug bites, in the end it was totally worth it! Congrats Sam & Andrew!
Sauptik & Sohini’s Engagement Photos | Mountain View Portrait Photographer
Sauptik and Sohini are getting married next month in India! Sohini came all the way from Seattle for this engagement session, just in time for our lovely spring weather. The grass in the park was changing colors to a lush green and made for a perfect backdrop. We also took some more photos at the Rengstorff House, a lovely little wedding venue in Mountain View.
