“Fwd: FW: National Championship Project” — that was the subject line of an email that Jack got from Stanford, inviting his girlfriend Nicole, a Stanford alumna and tennis champion, to participate in a profile for the athletics department to celebrate 40 years of Stanford national championships. Meet Aurelia, the most adorable little baby girl with the cutest curly hair and chubbiest round cheeks! I had the pleasure of photographing Tina and Keith’s little family, and I enjoyed spending every moment with them under this beautiful sunset. Aurelia is almost 11 months old now, and she’s already starting to walk! She also loves to pull on Mama’s hair and play with those sparkly earrings. Aside from being a great mom, I’m told that Tina is also an exceptional baker, and we’re looking forward to tasting one of her cakes at a wedding we’ll be photographing next year — what a small world!

Brooke’s family traveled across the country to Palo Alto for her graduation from Stanford (and just in time for Father’s Day too!), and they wanted to have some casual family photos taken outdoors with a beautiful natural backdrop. They all came out to Arastradero Preserve during sunset, which gave its rolling hills a soft, golden glow. It was so easy to photograph this beautiful family, as they were all so relaxed in front of my cameras. Also, the bonding and love among them was incredible! I could tell how close they all are in each others’ lives, and how precious these moments are for them!
