Harjot & Zeenia | Palace of Fine Arts Surprise Engagement
Though they’ve been together for seven years and are technically already engaged, Harjot knew he was missing something: a proper proposal for his future wife. After shopping for wedding outfits in the East Bay, the two went over to the Palace of Fine Arts for a walk under the rotunda and around the lagoon, then made their way over to the tree that has become such a popular spot for photos. Harjot got down on one knee, gave the proposal Zeenia deserved, and presented her with a beautiful ring. I loved the thoughtfulness that went into this, and seeing the pure happiness on both of their faces was perfect. Congrats to Harjot & Zeenia!
Preethi & Parthiv | San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts & Crissy Field Engagement Portraits
Preethi and Parthiv started dating in their freshman year at Waterloo (my alma mater!), and moved to San Francisco 6 months ago. For their engagement photo session, we visited the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field in San Francisco. I really enjoyed the contrast between Preethi’s bright, vibrant sari and her black cocktail dress — and she looks amazing in both, especially alongside her sharp-looking man! [ read more … ]
Mary & Juno | Palace of Fine Arts + Lands End/Sutro Baths Engagement Photos

These two are so perfect for each other, and Annie and I couldn’t be happier to have had the opportunity to shoot their engagement photos! [ read more … ]
Michael & Kemmerley | Palace of Fine Arts Surprise Proposal
After planning a getaway to San Francisco and Napa for himself and his girlfriend, Michael contacted us to set up a surprise photo shoot for his proposal at the Palace of Fine Arts, one of the most beautiful and iconic landmarks in the city. When the day came, we checked the forecast and it was supposed to rain all day, so we actually loaded up the car with some lights and rain gear to make some cool photos in the rain.
Luck was on their side, however, as the rain paused just long enough for a romantic stroll around the Palace of Fine Arts and for her to give a joyful, enthusiastic “YES!” [ read more … ]
Rochelle & Geoff | San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts & War Memorial Wedding
The Palace of Fine Arts, an iconic San Francisco landmark and popular tourist attraction, has been a special spot and is a perennial favorite for many of our couples’ proposals and engagement photos. Its majestic architectural design and unique picturesque surroundings and backdrop makes it no surprise that couples flock here to make their pre-wedding moments more memorable.
Geoff and Rochelle were very special for us, as they were our first couple to actually get married under the dome. Rochelle had dreamed of having her wedding there, and we were so delighted at the opportunity since we had always wanted to photograph a wedding at the Palace of Fine Arts! We couldn’t be happier that we got to share this experience with such a wonderful couple. [ read more … ]
