Shubhro planned a big surprise for Sadhana on her birthday! He sent a limo to pick her up for a special birthday dinner in San Francisco. These two high school sweethearts followed each other from China to Switzerland before settling down together in California. We spent the morning in and around the city capturing Sarah and Ji’s love, hitting lots of iconic San Francisco locations: the Legion of Honor, Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge, the Palace of the Fine Arts, and Stanford campus. Dante must be one of the most organized and best prepared grooms-to-be ever! He had every little detail meticulously planned out, and somehow even managed to sneakily text us a “hi,” without Jade noticing, to let us know that he had arrived. We followed the couple around like paparazzi and then caught him popping the question at just the right place. Congrats Dante & Jade!

We had the pleasure to photograph the 7th anniversary for Stephanie and Jon! Although the city and the Golden Gate bridge were shrouded by thick fog, it created a romantic feel for all of their images. For the entire session, all I saw through my lens was peace and love — please enjoy their photos.

This is a special session for us. We were originally contacted by Anu’s sister to give Dhanesh and Anu a “save-the-date session” because this lovely couple is getting married this December in India. An hour before the session we got a call from Anu’s sister telling us there was a last-minute change of plan — Dhanesh was going to surprise Anu with a ring! We were sooo excited and rerouted to get this couple some roses 🙂 We told Anu for the first set of photos we wanted them to stand back to back with their eyes closed, and when Anu turned around and found out what was really going on, she was in complete shock.
