In between all our late-summer weddings and surprise proposals, we had the pleasure of hanging out with Renate and Keith’s family at the beautiful Montara State Beach. Back in the spring, we had donated a family photo session to the Ocean Shore School here in Pacifica for their fundraising auction, and this sweet family won our photo session. Half Moon Bay is just a short drive down Highway 1 from our home in Pacifica, and offers some really beautiful scenery and quiet spots that can’t be found in San Francisco. On one of our weekends off, Annie and I took a walk along the Half Moon Bay coastal trail near the Ritz-Carlton, and we thought to ourselves what a wonderful place it would be for a proposal… so we were really excited when Amar contacted us and said he liked it too! Julie and Quin are expecting their twins soon — a boy and a girl!! Does it get any better than that? I wish I were so blessed 😀 We strolled along the Linda Mar Beach trail right next to their home in our lovely city of Pacifica and spent the evening golden hour under pouring sunshine. We had such a fun time shooting engagement photos for Jessica & Mike at Baker Beach. These two sure are a lively and merry couple, and their personalities really show in these photos. They were both constantly laughing and smiling, never keeping the same expressions for more than a moment, leading to lots of great, natural photos. Their wedding is in just three months, and we can’t wait to be there. I can only imagine what a blast that will be!
