J&J’s engagement session was a dream! I still can hardly believe how magical the day was. When I woke up that morning, the fog was so incredibly thick that I actually called to see if they wanted to reschedule, and they decided to go through with it anyway. When we arrived at Baker Beach, we were greeted by one of the clearest, most beautiful skies of the season! For the next couple of hours, we covered some picturesque spots around San Francisco and had a lot of fun in the process. I really loved their props, especially the cheerful sun and cloud balloons, and am overjoyed with how great they look in these photos. Take a look below!

In between all our late-summer weddings and surprise proposals, we had the pleasure of hanging out with Renate and Keith’s family at the beautiful Montara State Beach. Back in the spring, we had donated a family photo session to the Ocean Shore School here in Pacifica for their fundraising auction, and this sweet family won our photo session. Half Moon Bay is just a short drive down Highway 1 from our home in Pacifica, and offers some really beautiful scenery and quiet spots that can’t be found in San Francisco. On one of our weekends off, Annie and I took a walk along the Half Moon Bay coastal trail near the Ritz-Carlton, and we thought to ourselves what a wonderful place it would be for a proposal… so we were really excited when Amar contacted us and said he liked it too! Julie and Quin are expecting their twins soon — a boy and a girl!! Does it get any better than that? I wish I were so blessed 😀 We strolled along the Linda Mar Beach trail right next to their home in our lovely city of Pacifica and spent the evening golden hour under pouring sunshine.
