When Neal shared his DIY proposal plan with me, I have to admit that I initially felt a mix of excitement and concern. If ever there was a proposal that worked out like pure magic, Hunter and Alicia’s was it. During a getaway stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, Hunter and Alicia went out for an evening walk by the beach, quickly stopping by the cliffside on the way down. While Alicia was enjoying the ocean view, Hunter pulled out the ring he had been hiding, said a few sweet words, and got down on one knee to propose to the love of his life, surrounded by the beauty of the golden hour sun shining over the ocean. I always have a lot of fun at engagement shoots. They’re a time when everyone is relaxed, there are no strict schedules to adhere to, and my couple can move around and be themselves like nobody’s watching.
