Christiana & Mike | Golden Gate Park Stow Lake Engagement Photos

When Christiana and Mike told me that they were newly engaged, they really meant it! They got engaged on Dec 27th and we went out to a few beautiful locations in San Francisco for their engagement photos only three weeks later. They wanted this photo session to be romantic and fun, so we started out with a rowboat at Stow Lake. We definitely wouldn’t forget their two puppies (they are sooooooo cute), and I think the save-the-date photo with the puppies in this blog post is for sure one of my favs. The tide was crazy that day at the beach but C&M, running towards the water and getting totally soaked, didn’t mind at all. I got some really adorable photos! [ read more … ]

Vivian & Bin | San Francisco Wedding Portraits

Vivian and Bin were here in San Francisco for their Christmas vacation and wanted some wedding portraits done in the city. You probably wouldn’t believe me if I tell you it was drizzling the whole time during our photo shoot, but their photos turned out gorgeous! The clouds made a perfect backdrop for their outdoor portraits, and of course, San Francisco City Hall is always beautiful no matter the weather. Despite the number of tourists there we got a lot of quiet, intimate photos! [ read more … ]

Beau & Sadie’s Monarch Cove Inn Wedding | Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Sadie and Beau are big fans of Burning Man and they had made a group of super fun friends there. Beau used to carry a huge spoon to parties and would talk friends into drinking by saying, “It’s just a spoonful!” Sadly, that original big spoon eventually broke, so their friends got them a new gigantic spoon as a wedding gift and seeing everyone drinking out of the spoon was definitely a huge hit at their reception!! Krysten & Kevin’s Beach Paint Fight Engagement Photos | Bay Area Engagement Photographer

Originally from Texas, Krysten came to California and fell in love with Kevin, the first cowboy that she met here. Before moving back to Texas, they decided to take some engagement photos here at Thornton Beach. David and I had a ton of fun shooting with Krysten & Kevin and we think the photos really show who they truly are as a couple: some football on the beach followed by a super fun powder paint fight, a western theme with a cowboy hat and boots, and finally some gorgeous ocean sunset photos. Such a sweet and energetic couple!
