I love that I get to live in a city that’s so loved by locals and tourists alike! Marcelo & Nathaly came to San Francisco all the way from England for an early spring trip, and while they were here they stopped by for a visit to Baker Beach. It was such a gorgeous day, with just enough sun for a good view but perfectly soft for beautiful portraits. (Well, at least I thought the weather was nice. Frances and Chris were such a sweet couple! They met in college and moved to San Francisco together a few years ago, and Chris proposed less than a month ago!

For the engagement session, we started off right where they got engaged, in the Marin Headlands overlooking Rodeo Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The endless weeks of winter rain this year meant that when it came time for us to shoot, there were rolling hills with endless fields of flowers waiting for us in every direction! [ read more … ]

Mike and Leera were a super sweet couple! I hiked around with them at Lands End for an hour and they were smiling the ENTIRE time! The love and respect they have for each other is incredible! Oh they even brought their Anaheim Ducks jersey, which was a fun way to end our session. [ read more … ]

Flying all the way from the east coast, John & Stephanie visited Baker Beach last weekend for a walk along the beach. Their timing was absolutely perfect — early enough for the sun to still be barely above the horizon and give us a bit of light, yet late enough for most of the crowds to have cleared out. Moments after the proposal, the lights along the Golden Gate Bridge turned on, giving us a colorful, pretty backdrop for some photos. [ read more … ]

Savan and Priya flew across the country to the San Francisco for the long President’s Day weekend, and on Saturday afternoon they made the short hike up to the top of Mori Point with a couple of friends. Priya, of course, didn’t know the real reason for the hike, and as you can see in the photos below, was quite happily surprised when her fiance dropped down on one knee and said the words!
