Our clients often get understandably concerned about the weather in San Francisco, which is commonly overcast. But it’s actually a blessing in many ways! At popular locations like Baker Beach, the sun draws in huge crowds while clouds drive people away, leaving a beautiful, clean background for our couple, often with a dreamy Golden Gate Bridge background shrouded in mist and haze. I was so happy when M&P decided to go to Marshall’s Beach for their engagement session. Annie and I had never been there, and it’s always exciting to try out new places! Marshall’s Beach is basically like a mini version of Baker Beach, except that it’s much quieter with far fewer people (yes, that includes the infamous nudist brigade), and it’s also a lot closer to the Golden Gate Bridge so you get a better view. After their cute backyard wedding last year, Ashley and Michael donned their wedding outfits again for some more photos, this time at some iconic locations in San Francisco. Their wedding was actually on Christmas Day, so Ashley wore her red sash and brought a perfectly-complimentary red rose bouquet, which really helped the colors in their photos pop. [ read more … ]
