We absolutely adore the story and thought behind Oliver and Kiersten’s surprise proposal. She had mentioned to him in the past that she wanted it to happen somewhere private, away from people. After considering several locations, Oliver decided on the Lands End Lookout largely for this reason, but also because it’s just a great spot in general, with a scenic view of the California coastline and the Golden Gate Bridge off in the distance. I just loooooved everything about Saachi & Sean’s Marshall’s Beach engagement photos — the oh-so-in-love couple, the beautiful golden sunset, the rocky beach during high tide — it all made me so happy then and is making me so happy all over again as I’m editing this shoot. This is an engagement shoot that we won’t be forgetting anytime soon — and neither will Jenny & Kelly, I’m sure. It was a coooold day with 20+mph ocean winds, and even with the jacket that Jenny put on to warm up between shots, it’s a wonder nobody turned into a popsicle! It’s actually hard to describe just how crazy the wind was; when Jenny and Kelly arrived and parked at the top of Sutro Baths, they found us crouched at the base of a bush in the corner of the parking lot, trying to hide from the wind for just a few seconds longer…
