Michael & Cindy’s Surprise Proposal in the Berkeley Hills
Of all the places in the Bay Area we’ve been to (and we’ve been to a lot!), this spot in the Berkeley Hills is definitely among the most private, scenic, and special. But that’s not our favorite part of Michael’s proposal to Cindy. What we loved most is the level of personal detail — this was the spot where he had told her he loved her [ read more … ]
Monica & Julian’s Fairview Metropolitan Wedding | Oakland Wedding Photographer
Monica & Julian’s Fairview Metropolitan wedding in Oakland was as beautiful as it was special. The day started off in Daly City where they got ready separately, then we drove over to Crown Memorial State Beach for their first look — which was perfect, be sure to check out the little squeeze 😀 — and some family and bridal party photos.
Their ceremony at Fairview Metropolitan was short and sweet, and I think captured the essence of their relationship together in a cute and entertaining way. [ read more … ]
Lauren & Jeff’s Crown Memorial State Beach Engagement Photos

Abigail & Vaughn’s Wedding at Fairview Metropolitan Golf Links | Oakland Wedding Photographer
This is the story of a pair of high school sweethearts who finally tied the knot three weeks ago. In Abigail & Vaughn’s own words, here’s the short-and-very-sweet version:
Vaughn and Abigail met in high school. The word “met” is used loosely, because what we really mean is that we both thought the other was very cute, so of course we stayed as far away from each other as possible.
After many years, we reconnected. It began innocently enough by going to the gym together. Thanksgiving 2014 rolled around, and Abigail invited Vaughn over for pie. While Vaughn wasn’t a fan of pie, he was a fan of Abigail, and so he accepted.
The rest, as they say, is history.
