Sindy & Gabe wanted some night-time Embarcadero pier engagement photos, so we scheduled their session right through the sunset so we could be there after nightfall. I loved their interactions with each other – so warm and intimate, and such a joy to photograph. As the colorful dusk sky faded and the San Francisco cityscape started twinkling with lights, we walked down the pier for a couple of really special night photos, and I’m excited to share some of them with you!

Although they live in Arizona now, K&B visit San Francisco often, and Treasure Island is their special spot. K had the perfect proposal planned out months in advance: he’d walk down the Avenue of the Palms waterfront with his girlfriend, enjoying the San Francisco Bay breeze and looking at the beautiful city skyline view as the sun set over Marin before dropping to one knee and proposing. Purbasa & Nava first met in 2014, not long after she had moved to the SF Bay Area from the midwest. They went on their first date at the Punchline comedy club, and for six months, developed their relationship and enjoyed their time together in the Bay Area — stargazing at Ed Levine County Park, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cooking together.
