Bob got in touch with me late last year for his upcoming proposal. He had a vision of a nighttime surprise proposal in the backyard of the house he and Kristin had recently bought, and he even sent over inspiration photos and a detailed document showing and describing how the setup would look. I was super excited to capture this moment for the two of them, and his plan finally came to fruition last weekend.

Sindy & Gabe wanted some night-time Embarcadero pier engagement photos, so we scheduled their session right through the sunset so we could be there after nightfall. I loved their interactions with each other – so warm and intimate, and such a joy to photograph. As the colorful dusk sky faded and the San Francisco cityscape started twinkling with lights, we walked down the pier for a couple of really special night photos, and I’m excited to share some of them with you!

Although they live in Arizona now, K&B visit San Francisco often, and Treasure Island is their special spot. K had the perfect proposal planned out months in advance: he’d walk down the Avenue of the Palms waterfront with his girlfriend, enjoying the San Francisco Bay breeze and looking at the beautiful city skyline view as the sun set over Marin before dropping to one knee and proposing.
