Victor planned the perfect misdirection: a weekend bike ride with friends over the bridge and along the coast, as they’ve enjoyed doing in the past. September often brings coastal fog, but the winds were fully with them for this occasion: not only was there beautiful sunset light at Slackers Hill, but just enough fog built up in the distance to give us an almost surreal backdrop.
