E & E’s surprise proposal was the works! He had hired Captain Larry (Just Dreaming Yacht) for a private cruise on the San Francisco Bay with them and six of their close friends. What an incredible way to propose! The afternoon was an extra fun one for us as well — we arrived a bit early to don crew uniforms, complete with nametags reading “Eric” and “Marie” which would be our identities for the first half of the trip until the surprise was revealed. After making the rounds with Lauren & Zach through the Presidio and shooting some of their save-the-date photos along the way, we sped across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito to catch the sunset at Rodeo Beach. It’s their favorite beach for a getaway picnic and the view is just stunning! We had such a wonderful time with this beautiful couple and are so happy we had the chance to work with them. Join us in congratulating them on their upcoming wedding next year!

We shot Lauren & Rob’s engagement photos on New Year’s Day 2016, and what a great coincidence — New Year’s Day is when they had first started dating! We went to Muir Woods, which is such a gorgeous wooded grove, and even though it was packed, we managed to avoid the crowd and got some beautiful photos on our hike along the trail. Anne and Zach got married at the St. Anselm Church in Marin County, where Zach grew up. The two currently live in LA and flew in for their wedding, so the entire week was full of celebration! We can only imagine how fun the week must have been because Anne & Zach, along with their family and friends, sure knew how to party! Everyone we met at the wedding was a lot of fun, and once we got to the reception at Deer Park Villa, they all showed off their great dancing skills! [ read more … ]

Louisa and Billy first met through OKCupid and quickly fell in love. They had a 97% match rating which sounds crazy high, but after seeing how full of joy they were on their wedding day, I’m surprised it’s not even higher! Last summer, after backpacking the John Muir Trail together and even climbing Mt. Whitney, they decided to get married.

Their wedding day was an ultra romantic one filled with love and happiness, and it started in two beautiful vacation homes at Point Reyes Station where they got into their wedding attire. I swooned over Louisa’s bridal look — her sheath wedding gown and the stunning chapel length veil gave her an elegance that we (and Billy) will never forget!! L&B exchanged their vows and received many blessings in front of the Giacomini Barn, then here — the highlight of the day — they had a wedding parade! Billy and Louisa led the way singing “I Would Walk 500 Miles” while walking across the little town from their ceremony site to Toby’s Feed Barn.
