Monica & Julian’s Fairview Metropolitan Wedding | Oakland Wedding Photographer
Monica & Julian’s Fairview Metropolitan wedding in Oakland was as beautiful as it was special. The day started off in Daly City where they got ready separately, then we drove over to Crown Memorial State Beach for their first look — which was perfect, be sure to check out the little squeeze 😀 — and some family and bridal party photos.
Their ceremony at Fairview Metropolitan was short and sweet, and I think captured the essence of their relationship together in a cute and entertaining way. [ read more … ]
Brookelynn & Brandon’s Lake Tahoe Wedding
This July was packed with some of our most memorable weddings ever, and I honestly can’t imagine a better way to finish the month than with a roadtrip for Brooke & Brandon’s Lake Tahoe wedding at The Chateau at Incline Village.
We actually photographed their surprise proposal last year, and we loved the extensive and thoughtful planning that went into making an incredible day extra special. We knew that day that these two were perfect for each other, but it wasn’t until their Lake Tahoe wedding [ read more … ]

Abigail & Vaughn’s Wedding at Fairview Metropolitan Golf Links | Oakland Wedding Photographer
This is the story of a pair of high school sweethearts who finally tied the knot three weeks ago. In Abigail & Vaughn’s own words, here’s the short-and-very-sweet version:
Vaughn and Abigail met in high school. The word “met” is used loosely, because what we really mean is that we both thought the other was very cute, so of course we stayed as far away from each other as possible.
After many years, we reconnected. It began innocently enough by going to the gym together. Thanksgiving 2014 rolled around, and Abigail invited Vaughn over for pie. While Vaughn wasn’t a fan of pie, he was a fan of Abigail, and so he accepted.
The rest, as they say, is history.
John & Lien | Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton Surprise Engagement Proposal
John & Lien came from Texas to visit San Francisco and the Bay Area, and what better place to stay than at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay? This grand hotel is situated on a cliffside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and there is a nice trail with colorful vegetation that runs along the cliff. Beneath it is a sandy beach, perfect for a sunset walk.
After a romantic stroll down the coastal trail, John & Lien walked down to the beach, where they enjoyed the calm waves and the sunset. Upon returning to the cliffside, John showed the ring, popped the question, and she said YES! What a wonderful welcome to the California coast for this lovely couple — congrats you two!
