Conor and Kristin made the drive down from Sonoma to meet up with us for an early morning engagement shoot, even though it was right during the middle of raging wildfire season. Lana and Alan have known each other almost their entire lives — since the wee age of six! But they only started officially dating a few years ago, and it wasn’t even very long ago that Alan overheard Lana’s cousin asking if she would ever consider dating him… and Lana saying “no, never!”

Well, he got the last laugh because he definitely put a ring on her!! Last month, we went out to City Hall and Baker Beach to get some pretty pictures for them and I’m excited to share 🙂 Congrats to this perfect pair and their wedding next summer!

San Francisco often gets its best sunset skies in October, and the light certainly didn’t disappoint the evening of Elli & Elliot’s engagement photos. We hiked down to the beach together, took a few fun photos along the way, and romped around in the water a bit at the bottom as we caught the Marshall’s Beach sunset. Kim & Raoul met in one of my favorite cities in the world — Vancouver! Maybe I had even bumped into them unknowingly many years back when I lived there too 😀 For their engagement photos, we hit up the very distinctly San Francisco location of Baker Beach for their beach sunset engagement session. There’s a great amount of variety here, with woods, beach, and a Golden Gate Bridge view all within a few minutes’ walk. It was super empty that day, and it was as if they had the whole beach to themselves!
