We’ve been involved in quite a few elaborate proposal stories, but Kabir’s plan involved shoots on three different days — definitely a very exciting first for us. If I had to pick one thing that really stood out about his proposal to Reet, it’s how absolutely meticulously he planned every move and every turn, and how it would eventually culminate in the actual Big Sur surprise proposal. Julia & Chuck were the most laid-back, relaxed couple. They took no time at all to warm up in front of our cameras (despite the super cold weather!), and knew just how to make each other smile and laugh. I kind of see where their dog’s super chillaxed nature came from! Hank and Jill will be getting married later this year in Taiwan! We took some classic wedding portraits in the grand interior of the San Francisco City Hall and by the Golden Gate Bridge, some really fun photos at Potrero Hill with the city skyline in the background, and a few cute walking photos by the water at Sutro Baths. Preethi and Parthiv started dating in their freshman year at Waterloo (my alma mater!), and moved to San Francisco 6 months ago. For their engagement photo session, we visited the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field in San Francisco.
