Ashley and Paul held their wedding at Oceano Hotel & Spa, one of my favorite wedding venues in the Bay Area. Their navy blue and yellow themed wedding was a gorgeous affair, and the color coordination could be seen throughout the wedding, from the bridesmaid dresses to the floral arrangement, from their wedding cake to the centerpieces. Austin and Brittany planned a destination wedding (in Mexico!!), and wanted to have their save-the-date/engagement photos taken near the Golden Gate Bridge. We drove along the windy road near Battery Spencer up to the top with the tunnels where Austin proposed, then headed back to Baker Beach to run around and bury our feet in the sand. JD and Becky flew in from Alabama, and he wanted to give her a sweet surprise in San Francisco: asking her to be his lifetime partner! JD’s parents live in Sacramento and drove to the city to witness this moment, hiding out and waiting in the back corner of a parking lot while the couple walked along Crissy Field. Ryan followed Catherine to California from Omaha over a year ago. He just moved back to Omaha the weekend after our photo shoot, and this time, Catherine will follow him there. They decided to have their save-the-date photos taken at Baker Beach to document their wonderful journey together here in the Bay Area. The day was a little overcast which made Catherine’s dress color pop in the photos (really pretty!) AND more importantly, we got the whole beach completely to ourselves and got some great shots!
