Nick got in touch with me a couple weeks ago as he was planning his proposal. He envisioned having the Bay Bridge as the grand backdrop, and his plan was to bring Kasey to the Embarcadero for a quick walk before having an early dinner together at the Waterbar. Coit Tower had been Jose and Meghan’s special spot for years. They lived just a few blocks from the base of the tower, and so they’d often go there together. We met Trang & Jordan for the first time a year and a half ago at Twin Peaks, where he brought her after work for a special surprise: after a quick walk towards the lookout, Jordan got down on one knee and asked a surprised and elated Trang to marry him. Treasure Island has always been one of my favorite places for photos, yet it’s often underappreciated and overlooked. It offers a beautiful view of both the San Francisco city skyline and the Bay Bridge, and the sunset colors are just amazing.
