Pavan and Shubhreen’s proposal was one of the most unique, creative, and artistic proposals we’ve ever witnessed — and we’ve seen a lot of proposals! On a sunny Thursday afternoon, Mike and Kirsten made a stop at Treasure Island before setting off on their Fourth of July weekend roadtrip. Unbeknownst to Kirsten, Mike had actually dropped by here earlier to scope out a spot for his proposal and to coordinate with us. Akshay and I first talked in May about his upcoming planned proposal, and it was all planned out and ready to go until yet another new 2020 twist was added into the mix: not coronavirus this time, but the wave of protests and curfews kept his proposal from happening the way he had wanted.
