After seven years and 300 proposals, we still haven’t even come close to discovering all the good spots in San Francisco — and exploring new places is one of the best parts of our job! Kirill introduced us to a new location recently, a lookout point at Mount Davidson that he had been to many times before, and we were very excited to hike up there for our first time. There’s a sweeping view of San Francisco, the downtown skyline, Sutro Tower, and even the Bay, and it’s a true hidden gem of San Francisco. [ read more … ]

Jayme is very much a planner — in fact, we were in touch more than a month before her proposal to talk about locations and ideas, and after deciding on the ideal spot, she even scouted it out just to make sure it was the perfect place. We waited a loooong time to get the perfect sunset for Nicole & Amir’s Sutro Baths engagement photos, and here we have it! I get so excited when I’m photographing a couple who is super in love — you can see it in their eyes — and I think it shows in the photos too. Towards the end, they climbed down to one of the rocks down in the ruins and we got one of my favorite photos of the set… or maybe ever. [ read more … ]
