The sun-kissed grove of redwoods at The Mountain Terrace in Woodside provided the perfect backdrop for Xander and Andrea’s wedding day. As a couple who loves to travel and hike, they couldn’t have chosen a more fitting location to get married than here, a small clearing in the redwoods, nestled in the mountains of Woodside. The most appreciated surprises are often the least expected. Pranav and Nikhita went for a morning hike up to Slackers Hill, one of my favorite places in the Bay Area, with its stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco — but of course, she didn’t suspect the true purpose. I love that they’re both dressed in casual hiking gear, complete with a backpack, hat, and sunglasses, just having a fun hike on a beautiful morning, just like they had done many times in the past. But then, after briefly taking in the panoramic view, Pranav knelt down with the ring he had hidden, and he said the words that would take their relationship to the next stage. Her reaction says it all 🙂

Amaritpal surprised Arsheen on a sunny day last month with one of the most beautiful proposal displays I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing: a huge, free-standing heart made of red roses, with an aisle made of rose petals and rows of vases on either side. Under the golden hour evening sun, just the decor by itself was breathtaking, but of course what was really memorable was the proposal itself.
