Arthur had been planning for this moment for a long time and contacted us more than a month in advance to discuss the location and logistics as getting great photos was very important to him. He and Nicole are both active duty in the Coast Guard on opposite coasts, so it’s been really hard for them to find time together. Have you ever met a couple for the first time yet felt that they were your longtime friends? Meet Kim and Brandon! They were madly in love and super laid-back and fun. And on top of all that, Kim is a singer and song writer (anyone who knows me would know how important singing is to me)! When Kim sang the song called “Feels Like Home” for Brandon during their ceremony, it touched my heart and I teared up. Her voice was beautiful!! Kim and Brandon made a lot of the wedding details themselves and we loved the Western-themed details throughout the whole wedding. Rudy and Sophie’s story goes back several years to before Rudy was a student at Stanford. When Annie and I met Rudy a couple days before he proposed, he described Sophie as the special one who helped drive his current ambitions and gave him the motivation to pursue graduate studies at Stanford, so it was only appropriate that he proposed to her on campus. On the morning of the big day, he came by to drop off some roses and champagne with us, and we brought those to Stanford Memorial Church along with speakers to play his special request — Endless Love by Lionel Ritchie & Diana Ross. These two high school sweethearts followed each other from China to Switzerland before settling down together in California. We spent the morning in and around the city capturing Sarah and Ji’s love, hitting lots of iconic San Francisco locations: the Legion of Honor, Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge, the Palace of the Fine Arts, and Stanford campus.
