Anne and Zach got married at the St. Anselm Church in Marin County, where Zach grew up. The two currently live in LA and flew in for their wedding, so the entire week was full of celebration! We can only imagine how fun the week must have been because Anne & Zach, along with their family and friends, sure knew how to party! On a warmly-lit autumn afternoon, this lovely pair took a walk down Pier 7 at the Embarcadero where they had their first date. Weston & Laura now live in Austin, but first met in San Francisco so the city, and this pier especially, hold a special meaning to them.

Weston had prepared a great trip for the two of them — first a trip to Paris, where Laura must have kept wondering, “Is he going to propose? Is he going to do it?”; then a trip to SF where he popped the question (and where she said YES); and finally, a surprise trip to visit her family and share the great news. [ read more … ]

Eric and Erin chose to have a very intimate ceremony at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, witnessed by Eric’s sister and brother-in-law (and me!). The two of them exchanged romantic love letters and wedding gifts before their “I do’s.” Interestingly, they know each other so well that they even got the same card for each other. How cute! Durell’s proposal to Karla at Stanford was thoughtfully planned, beautifully prepared, and perfectly executed. The two had met each other many years ago as Stanford students, and so it was fitting for the proposal to be at the Stanford main quad near the Stanford Memorial Church. Durell dropped by the day before to check out the area, and he even sent us a selfie of him in the spot where he was planning to propose so that we’d know exactly where to lie in wait. Originally from Texas, Krysten came to California and fell in love with Kevin, the first cowboy that she met here. Before moving back to Texas, they decided to take some engagement photos here at Thornton Beach. David and I had a ton of fun shooting with Krysten & Kevin and we think the photos really show who they truly are as a couple: some football on the beach followed by a super fun powder paint fight, a western theme with a cowboy hat and boots, and finally some gorgeous ocean sunset photos. Such a sweet and energetic couple!
