Sam’s proposal was a very special one. Sure, the Sausalito Bridgeway promenade is a very picturesque spot, great for a romantic walk along the Bay, but it was also much more than that: decades ago, Sam’s dad proposed at the same spot! I really love it when our couples incorporate such meaningful and personal things like that 🙂 And Christina’s reaction was so cute when she realized we were there snapping photos of the proposal, which you can see in the photos below. She was so excited that her hands were still shaking even while we were doing portraits afterwards! Congrats guys!

For their engagement session, Abigail & Vaughn wanted a beautiful open field, and what better place than the Arastradero Preserve with its rolling hills blanketed in tall, golden grass? Diep and Khoa marked their 9^th anniversary by tying the knot at Garré Winery’s Martinelli Event Center in Livermore, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Diep and Khoa met each other through her sister when they were still teenagers. Khoa would often visit Diep while she was working at the local mall kiosk — how cute is that!? Of course, they fell in love, and as they say, the rest is history… history which their guests happily unearthed and shared amongst family and friends on their wedding day as they mused over this beautiful love story. Simran had been planning his romantic Labor Day weekend surprise to his girlfriend Amita for more than a month, and contacted us after deciding on the San Jose Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is really great this time of year, as it’s covered with flowers of all colors in full bloom. The couple strolled through the garden taking lots of flower photos (Amita had actually gotten a new camera!) while we followed loosely behind. When the time came, under the soft sunset light, Simran got down on his knee and popped the question! Congrats you two — you’re too cute!
