From start to finish, Hayley & Joey’s wedding was full of fun and laughter. Before their ceremony, we coordinated a first look at the nearby Presidio Chapel, in front of its grand doors. Mike & Katie traveled from out of state to visit San Francisco this month, and Mike had the perfect proposal lined up. On a weekday morning about a week ago, the two walked along the Embarcadero onto Pier 7. About halfway down the pier, Mike popped the big question, and we were so lucky to have been witnesses to this amazing proposal. I could feel Katie just bursting with joy as she literally jumped up and down shouting “YES!!!” and hugged her fiance. Stephanie & David’s love story began with her waiting in line for coffee one Sunday afternoon with Murphy, her adorable Yorkie. David bumped into them, fell in love with Murphy (who wouldn’t!?) and Stephanie, and the rest is history. J&J’s engagement session was a dream! I still can hardly believe how magical the day was. When I woke up that morning, the fog was so incredibly thick that I actually called to see if they wanted to reschedule, and they decided to go through with it anyway. When we arrived at Baker Beach, we were greeted by one of the clearest, most beautiful skies of the season! For the next couple of hours, we covered some picturesque spots around San Francisco and had a lot of fun in the process. I really loved their props, especially the cheerful sun and cloud balloons, and am overjoyed with how great they look in these photos. Take a look below!

I love couples who incorporate a lot of family and friends into their wedding. Ted & Danielle’s wedding was so much fun and so personal. Winston, their officiant, was a longtime family friend who had known Danielle her whole life. His words were sentimental yet funny, and everyone loved what he had to say. His talents didn’t end there — during their reception, Winston actually went on stage to play his guitar and harmonica and sing at the same time. Yes, you read right. Simultaneously. [ read more … ]
