Brooke’s Family Photos at Arastradero Preserve | Palo Alto Family Photographer
Brooke’s family traveled across the country to Palo Alto for her graduation from Stanford (and just in time for Father’s Day too!), and they wanted to have some casual family photos taken outdoors with a beautiful natural backdrop. They all came out to Arastradero Preserve during sunset, which gave its rolling hills a soft, golden glow. It was so easy to photograph this beautiful family, as they were all so relaxed in front of my cameras. Also, the bonding and love among them was incredible! I could tell how close they all are in each others’ lives, and how precious these moments are for them!

Our lovely couple, Nick & Maria, met in graduate school, and an important moment in their relationship was a trip they took to Africa. For the proposal, Nick wanted a spot that would remind them of a safari, so we suggested the Arastradero Preserve in Palo Alto, which with its golden grassy hills is a nice escape from the urban Bay Area. Xavier’s 6 Month Baby Session at Arastradero Preserve | Palo Alto Family Photographer
Little Xavier is 6 months old!! He has leveled up from his toothless stage — he officially has two teeth now!! Xavier loves Mommy’s singing and Daddy’s cuddle, enjoys pulling Mommy’s hair and giggles to all the silly things I say to him. I was screaming “sooooo cute” in my usual high-pitched voice constantly while editing these photos and David had to find a headset for that 😀 Now let’s see how cute Xavier’s pictures are!
