From start to finish, Hayley & Joey’s wedding was full of fun and laughter. Before their ceremony, we coordinated a first look at the nearby Presidio Chapel, in front of its grand doors. I love couples who incorporate a lot of family and friends into their wedding. Ted & Danielle’s wedding was so much fun and so personal. Winston, their officiant, was a longtime family friend who had known Danielle her whole life. His words were sentimental yet funny, and everyone loved what he had to say. Our featured couple this week is Sarah & Jonathan. After getting ready separately early in the day, they had a cute first look in front of Tower Hall, on the San Jose State University campus where they first met. We then went over to the San Jose Woman’s Club where their family & friends were gathered for their ceremony. After reading their vows, exchanging rings, and communion, Sarah & Jonathan celebrated by having one of their favorite treats: a 7-Eleven slurpee! [ read more … ]

Tammy and Chris exchanged their “I do”s at The Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon under a bright and sunny summer sky. For this couple, the most important part of their wedding was the guests, and above all, their family. Tammy carried with her a rosary with her father’s picture and kept it wrapped around her left hand during the ceremony, and she also lit a tribute candle in his memory. Tammy’s brother walked her down the aisle, and later shared a very touching dance with her during the reception. On the other side of the aisle, Chris chose his father to be one of his groomsmen — something I totally think more grooms should do! — and to unite them in marriage, Chris’s uncle, a priest, performed the ceremony. The spotlight of this post shines on Sarah & Rob, who had their glamorous and stylish wedding when they tied the knot last month at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers. With their theme of “Hollywood Glamour,” the couple encouraged their guests to be as fashionable as they wanted, which definitely added to the classy air of the wedding.
