Abigail & Vaughn’s Wedding at Fairview Metropolitan Golf Links | Oakland Wedding Photographer

This is the story of a pair of high school sweethearts who finally tied the knot three weeks ago. In Abigail & Vaughn’s own words, here’s the short-and-very-sweet version:

​​Vaughn and Abigail met in high school. The word “met” is used loosely, because what we really mean is that we both thought the other was very cute, so of course we stayed as far away from each other as possible.
​​
​​After many years, we reconnected. It began innocently enough by going to the gym together. Thanksgiving 2014 rolled around, and Abigail invited Vaughn over for pie. While Vaughn wasn’t a fan of pie, he was a fan of Abigail, and so he accepted.
​​
​​The rest, as they say, is history.

Hayley & Joey | San Francisco Wedding at the Presidio Golden Gate Club

From start to finish, Hayley & Joey’s wedding was full of fun and laughter. Before their ceremony, we coordinated a first look at the nearby Presidio Chapel, in front of its grand doors. There were a lot of cute moments at the first look, including the amusing line “hold me like you love me, not like you’re strangling me!” which still comes to my mind whenever I see the first photo below, followed by some portraits of the bride & groom and the wedding party. Danielle & Ted | Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club Wedding

I love couples who incorporate a lot of family and friends into their wedding. Ted & Danielle’s wedding was so much fun and so personal. Winston, their officiant, was a longtime family friend who had known Danielle her whole life. His words were sentimental yet funny, and everyone loved what he had to say. His talents didn’t end there — during their reception, Winston actually went on stage to play his guitar and harmonica and sing at the same time. Yes, you read right. Simultaneously. [ read more … ]

Sarah & Jonathan | San Jose Woman’s Club Wedding

Our featured couple this week is Sarah & Jonathan. After getting ready separately early in the day, they had a cute first look in front of Tower Hall, on the San Jose State University campus where they first met. We then went over to the San Jose Woman’s Club where their family & friends were gathered for their ceremony. After reading their vows, exchanging rings, and communion, Sarah & Jonathan celebrated by having one of their favorite treats: a 7-Eleven slurpee! [ read more … ]
