Maylene & Alejandro | Classic Fairmont Pittsburgh Hotel Wedding

Annie and I flew to the east coast last month for Maylene & Alejandro’s Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel wedding. That weekend marked many “firsts” for us (we had never been to Pennsylvania!), but the biggest one is that it was our first time photographing a close friend’s wedding. We normally get to know all of our couples pretty well by the time we show up on their wedding day, but it’s really a different experience to look through the lens and focus on every expression, every smile, and every tear for someone we’ve known for half our lives… and I’m so glad we did it!

Traci & Alex’s Elliston Vineyards Wedding | Sunol Wedding Photographer

Traci & Alex’s Elliston Vineyards wedding was a blast. Their good friends who hiked with them took some great photos of the memorable occasion, and we’re glad they did. (And photographing a proposal at Half Dome is now on my goals list!) [ read more … ]

Joe & Bernadete’s Elopement at the Long Branch Saloon and Farms | Half Moon Bay Wedding Photographer

After visiting many venues, Joe and Bernadete ended up falling in love with the little chapel at the Long Branch Saloon and Farms in Half Moon Bay. The way they looked at each other with so much love and respect made them so easy for me to photograph! [ read more … ]

Monica & Eric’s Wedding at the Toll House Hotel | Los Gatos Wedding Photographer

Monica & Eric had their very intimate wedding at the Toll House Hotel with their family and a few of their closest friends. When we first met, Monica recounted how Eric proposed, how he was “acting really weird” but sweet, and I knew from how in love they were that we’d have a great time photographing their Los Gatos wedding. Chung & Justin | CuriOdyssey Wedding at Coyote Point

Chung & Justin’s wedding absolutely amazed me. Everything was DIY — the escort cards, adorable ceremony decorations, paper cranes, aquatic centerpieces, and dozens of cute little green potted paper succulents for wedding favors. Even the wedding party’s bouquets and boutonnieres were picked from the couple’s garden and hand-crafted! It was all so well-made and put together, and most importantly, it reflected the two of them as a couple. [ read more … ]
