Annie and Kevin got married a few years ago, but they never got around to taking photos in San Francisco… so we set out to fix that last week! These two were a bunch of fun and full of giggles, like they had just gotten married yesterday. I loved capturing all of their little kisses and smiles, and the beautiful skies certainly didn’t hurt. Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot at a couple of my favorite spots in SF 🙂

I just loooooved everything about Saachi & Sean’s Marshall’s Beach engagement photos — the oh-so-in-love couple, the beautiful golden sunset, the rocky beach during high tide — it all made me so happy then and is making me so happy all over again as I’m editing this shoot. This is an engagement shoot that we won’t be forgetting anytime soon — and neither will Jenny & Kelly, I’m sure. It was a coooold day with 20+mph ocean winds, and even with the jacket that Jenny put on to warm up between shots, it’s a wonder nobody turned into a popsicle! It’s actually hard to describe just how crazy the wind was; when Jenny and Kelly arrived and parked at the top of Sutro Baths, they found us crouched at the base of a bush in the corner of the parking lot, trying to hide from the wind for just a few seconds longer…

Engagement photos are a time to get a great set of professional photos, but they can also be an opportunity to relive memories — and even to create new ones. So we love it when we have engagement shoots at personally meaningful locations! Eric and Cory’s first date was at Stanford, and for their engagement photos, we started at the cactus garden and then moved onto main campus. The golden glow of the setting sun provided a perfect feel for this shoot; it was like a materialization of the warmth and love between them and gave these photos a look that perfectly matched the feeling of our hour together.
