Vivian and Bin were here in San Francisco for their Christmas vacation and wanted some wedding portraits done in the city. You probably wouldn’t believe me if I tell you it was drizzling the whole time during our photo shoot, but their photos turned out gorgeous! The clouds made a perfect backdrop for their outdoor portraits, and of course, San Francisco City Hall is always beautiful no matter the weather. We shot Lauren & Rob’s engagement photos on New Year’s Day 2016, and what a great coincidence — New Year’s Day is when they had first started dating! We went to Muir Woods, which is such a gorgeous wooded grove, and even though it was packed, we managed to avoid the crowd and got some beautiful photos on our hike along the trail. Despite Sean working an out-of-town job and the two only seeing each other on weekends, he and Rochelle spent a precious day scouting out locations for their engagement photos to make this an extra-special shoot. I had SUCH a fun session with Christian and Sonia! We met at the Bi-Rite Creamery and got some ice cream to kick off the fun. We then walked to Dolores Park where there must have been a thousand people crowded under the warm sunlight. We took a detour (ahem!) across a fence, and found a perfect spot in a quiet section with just the three of us. Perfect time for some champagne! Then… how about a confetti fight in front of the colorful graffiti wall to end the session? [ read more … ]

Tammy and Chris are an adorable and loving couple, and we felt very relaxed working around them. Even with the wind at 27mph on a very chilly day, the two stayed calm and cheerful for the entire two hours, and I’m amazed that, while I was freezing inside my coat, Tammy was able to pull off that look with her gorgeous short dress.
