Lana and Alan have known each other almost their entire lives — since the wee age of six! But they only started officially dating a few years ago, and it wasn’t even very long ago that Alan overheard Lana’s cousin asking if she would ever consider dating him… and Lana saying “no, never!”

Well, he got the last laugh because he definitely put a ring on her!! Last month, we went out to City Hall and Baker Beach to get some pretty pictures for them and I’m excited to share 🙂 Congrats to this perfect pair and their wedding next summer!

San Francisco often gets its best sunset skies in October, and the light certainly didn’t disappoint the evening of Elli & Elliot’s engagement photos. We hiked down to the beach together, took a few fun photos along the way, and romped around in the water a bit at the bottom as we caught the Marshall’s Beach sunset. I just love how much fun they had with each other all along the way, and how Elliott rolled up his pants to splash around with Elli in the ocean! [ read more … ]

We always have a backlog of spots that we’d love to visit for photos, and recently we got to cross one off our list! I’m super grateful that Gina & Saad trusted us and our suggestion to explore Coyote Hills Regional Park for their engagement photos. Just last month, we met Shabeg and his now-fiancee Nav for their surprise proposal on the Fairmont Hotel rooftop. Last weekend, we drove out to Pescadero for their engagement shoot so they could have everything ready for their wedding — which is in less than two weeks! That’s some efficient wedding planning!

For the first half of this session, we took a set of playful and fun photos along the coast at Pescadero State Beach (including that mini-canyon thingy that’s just absolutely wild), and afterwards headed south for some Pigeon Point Lighthouse engagement photos, which are some of my favorites from their shoot.
