Nels and Lindsey’s wedding was full of vibrant colors and adorable details. Lindsey was so thoughtful that she incorporated a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress into her bouquet, which made her “something old” extra special! They also had a super cute “ABC’s of Marriage Advice” scrapbook made by a room of kindergarteners, and it made their candy table extra sweet!! I also just have to mention that Lindsey and Nels met through music, karaoke to be specific. So they had a karaoke jockey instead of a traditional DJ at their wedding reception, and the couple gifted each other a song — touching and hilarious at the same time!

Meet Henry and Alicia’s sweet family! On a super windy afternoon, we strolled around Baker Beach and found some lovely spots for photos. I like taking traditional family shots, but lifestyle photography is my specialty. I love all the laughter, hugs, and kisses during each photo session that show my clients who they are as a family. Henry and Alicia’s family set a perfect example for this. Take a look at the happiness and love in their eyes!

Lillian’s cake smash was an absolutely adorable one!! We started the session with her wearing her little red tutu in her parent’s backyard. For this session, Julie and Eric provided all kinds of props and made sure that Lillian was well-fed and had a good nap, giving me lots of opportunities to snap many happy shots! We were all laughing pretty hard at Lillian’s reaction after her cake smash; the sugar high hit her literally within five minutes of digging into the cake, and she turned from a quiet baby into a dancing queen! I will always remember the sparkles in Lillian’s eyes when she took the first bite of that frosting, and the “hmmmm” sound she was making during the whole cake smashing. It was just ADORABLE!! Sauptik and Sohini are getting married next month in India! Sohini came all the way from Seattle for this engagement session, just in time for our lovely spring weather. The grass in the park was changing colors to a lush green and made for a perfect backdrop. We also took some more photos at the Rengstorff House, a lovely little wedding venue in Mountain View.

Jaspal contacted me a couple weeks back and had everything planned out — on a nice Saturday morning, he and his girlfriend Sabrina would drive out from the California Central Valley all the way to Garrapata State Beach (a bit south of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey), then he’d propose on rocky cliff overlooking this beautiful beach where they had been a few times before.
