Rudy is the kind of person who’s very precise, specific, and knows exactly what he wants. It made working together on this shoot so smooth and easy, and I’m sure Zoey feels very lucky to have someone like him! He had it all planned out — just before the proposal, they spent an afternoon at the de Young Museum, followed by a relaxing, romantic walk around Stow Lake. After passing a small pagoda, a calm waterfall, and a myriad of couples on paddleboats, Rudy and Zoey crossed an idyllic stone arch bridge to the spot where he proposed. Liz and Chris originally planned on having their photos taken at Ravenswood Historic Site in Livermore, but due to their early closing hours we changed our location to Pacifica State Beach. And I’m so glad we did because we got REALLY lucky that day — I’ve never seen Pacifica State Beach this empty before, as we were literally the only three people there that got to enjoy the gorgeous sunset that day!
