I was so happy when M&P decided to go to Marshall’s Beach for their engagement session. Annie and I had never been there, and it’s always exciting to try out new places! Marshall’s Beach is basically like a mini version of Baker Beach, except that it’s much quieter with far fewer people (yes, that includes the infamous nudist brigade), and it’s also a lot closer to the Golden Gate Bridge so you get a better view. Brooke’s family traveled across the country to Palo Alto for her graduation from Stanford (and just in time for Father’s Day too!), and they wanted to have some casual family photos taken outdoors with a beautiful natural backdrop. They all came out to Arastradero Preserve during sunset, which gave its rolling hills a soft, golden glow. It was so easy to photograph this beautiful family, as they were all so relaxed in front of my cameras. Also, the bonding and love among them was incredible! I could tell how close they all are in each others’ lives, and how precious these moments are for them!
