Brooke’s Family Photos at Arastradero Preserve | Palo Alto Family Photographer

Brooke’s family traveled across the country to Palo Alto for her graduation from Stanford (and just in time for Father’s Day too!), and they wanted to have some casual family photos taken outdoors with a beautiful natural backdrop. They all came out to Arastradero Preserve during sunset, which gave its rolling hills a soft, golden glow. It was so easy to photograph this beautiful family, as they were all so relaxed in front of my cameras. Also, the bonding and love among them was incredible! I could tell how close they all are in each others’ lives, and how precious these moments are for them!

Chelsea & Matt’s Marin Headlands & Sutro Baths Engagement Photos

Though Chelsea and Matt live on the east coast now, she used to live in the Bay Area and he’d fly out to visit often. On a trip to Tennessee together a few weeks ago, Matt secretly asked Chelsea’s parents for permission, and then waited for the perfect moment to ask her for her hand in marriage — with the ring that he had been hiding for two months. Krista & Cale | Golden Gate Park & Sutro Baths Engagement Photos

Krista and Cale are officially tying the knot next summer, and let me just say that they are going to be one stunning couple. Despite the cold and windy day, she absolutely rocked her gorgeous pastel coral dress and that beautiful deep blue dress! And I have to say that Cale, aside from being quite the handsome fellow himself, was probably the most enthusiastic groom-to-be I’ve ever worked with — so eager to jump into whatever pose we asked for, and always with a huge enthusiastic smile. Nate & Amanda | Berkeley Grizzly Peak San Francisco Bay View Proposal

To help with planning his proposal, Nate enlisted the help of his good friends Richie & Jenny. They had actually planned another friend’s proposal in the past, so this wasn’t new to them!

A few weeks before the proposal, Richie, Jenny, and I met up in the hills of Berkeley to scout out a location. We found the perfect spot — a beautiful cliffside point overlooking Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, Sausalito, and the SF Bay. Basically the whole area around SF. But the day before the proposal went down, they actually went back with Nate and found an even better spot, one totally isolated from sightseers and hikers, and spacious enough to set up a picnic table. Chung & Justin | CuriOdyssey Wedding at Coyote Point

Chung & Justin’s wedding absolutely amazed me. Everything was DIY — the escort cards, adorable ceremony decorations, paper cranes, aquatic centerpieces, and dozens of cute little green potted paper succulents for wedding favors. Even the wedding party’s bouquets and boutonnieres were picked from the couple’s garden and hand-crafted! It was all so well-made and put together, and most importantly, it reflected the two of them as a couple. [ read more … ]
