Being avid hikers, Jeremy and Nicole took advantage of their trip to the Bay Area to find some new spots to explore. The Linda Mar Beach/Pacifica State Beach is one of my favorite spots around here, so I’m really glad Jeremy liked my suggestion! It’s a pretty easy trail which goes up along a cliff facing the Pacific Ocean and offers beautiful views of the beach and ocean down below. Flying in all the way from New York, Daven & Anisa visited our beautiful city of San Francisco for a weekend trip. After a long, relaxing walk along Baker Beach in the presence of calm, soothing waves and the ever-present Karl the Fog, the couple took a selfie and then turned towards the Golden Gate Bridge. While Anisa was still facing the bridge, Daven pulled out the ring and got down on one knee behind her. When she turned around, the surprise and joy on her face was priceless! [ read more … ]

Tim wanted to make his San Francisco trip with his girlfriend Jackie extra special, so he brought along a little ? surprise! The pair took an early morning trip out to the Land’s End Labyrinth while it was totally empty and had a nice moment to themselves, while we quietly took some photos from a distance. E & E’s surprise proposal was the works! He had hired Captain Larry (Just Dreaming Yacht) for a private cruise on the San Francisco Bay with them and six of their close friends. What an incredible way to propose! The afternoon was an extra fun one for us as well — we arrived a bit early to don crew uniforms, complete with nametags reading “Eric” and “Marie” which would be our identities for the first half of the trip until the surprise was revealed. Half Moon Bay is just a short drive down Highway 1 from our home in Pacifica, and offers some really beautiful scenery and quiet spots that can’t be found in San Francisco. On one of our weekends off, Annie and I took a walk along the Half Moon Bay coastal trail near the Ritz-Carlton, and we thought to ourselves what a wonderful place it would be for a proposal… so we were really excited when Amar contacted us and said he liked it too!
